If I’m reading your mind , it’s only because I’ve helped those like you who’ve been there before. When I helped shift their thinking more toward their strengths, trained them how to stop using food and work to soothe and distract, and to take a more positive and strengths-based  approach to their personal and professional selves, they found the kind of success and deep satisfaction they’ve been needing for years…

The Problem

The problem is, we get ‘stuck’ in unwanted old habits, intense negative thoughts, or frustrating interactions with others. Often, these are triggered by our own perceptions and unmet needs, or events that are emotionally charged. We know there HAS to be ways to get ‘unstuck’, but how?

I spent my adolescence, through early adult years, postponing many of the small things that I knew would make me happy and less stressed.
And my solution to stress and anxiety?
More avoidance.
It wasn’t until years later I realized that I would never have enough time unless I MADE the time for what’s important, and made it a priority. That’s when the rest of my life began.

One day it occurred to me...

No matter how hard you try,
no matter how much self-improvement you do, 
and no matter how great you are at producing,
until you deal with your anxiety
and stress
You’ll never have the kind of abundance 
(or personal/professional success) 
that you dream about.

The time to become more Resilient is now.

1. Neglecting ourselves to get things done doesn’t work.
Somewhere along the way, we got the idea that to accomplish our goals, we had to make some really huge sacrifices: a few too many take-out dinners, unhealthy habits, smartphone in bed, working late-nights (every night), less time (or no time) with our loved ones. Decreased happiness and increased stress.
The problem is, we are PART of the goals we want to positively impact, and if we’re chronically stressed and overwhelmed, we’re stuck in an unsustainable cycle.
2. How we live right now is important.
The way we approach our lives, and the people and things in them, are a  reflection of the choices we've made. At this very moment, with all the stress and difficulties that seem to overwhelm us, we still must somehow step up, face the world, and get the job done.  
3. You are a whole and complete person.
  • If you are stressed, it will impact your health and ability to be productive.
  • If your money is in disarray, it will impact your ability to focus on giving.
  • If you’re dealing with your own unhealthy relationships with time, food, other people or your own body, they are going to hold you back from making the kind of impact you want to make in your life.

If you’re always waiting for “someday”, someday will never come

  • Leave behind that “someday” thinking, always postponing my needs for later. “Someday” is the disease that keeps us trapped somewhere between our reality and our goals. “Someday” will have us endure feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, only to look back and wonder what happened to our lives.“Someday” is today…it has to be.

  • Commit fully – even without knowing how – to ending my cycle of using outside distractions to soothe and divert me.

  • Realize that there was no point in waiting for my circumstances to change. I had to change my circumstances.

  • Admit that to truly make a difference in my life, it started with me…

Each Monday morning for eight weeks, you’ll receive an email to let you know that a new audio and video chapter of the course, along with supportive worksheets, have been posted on the membership site. The section and worksheets can be worked on conveniently at a time that works for you. You’ll be given plenty of food for thought, and will receive clear action steps for the week. Each section is designed to inspire meaningful action.

8 Weeks of Live Group Coaching With Makida
